Fender Jaguar (Vintage)

1972 Fender Jaguar. This is one of the best Jaguars I’ve ever played. If you’ve ever shopped for Jags, you know, they can be very inconsistent. This one is light weight, plays great, slim but very comfortable neck. The pickups sound fantastic and the bridge mute works great. These early 70s examples are identical to the late 60s Jags with zero differences. They even still have pots from 1966!

This guitar is all original with a few exceptions. New nut, reissue trem arm, new switchcraft pickup switches.

I’ve modified the pickup switch wiring to be more versatile. The switches function the same as they did originally with one exception, when both PU switches are DOWN the pickups are now in-series. This gives you a louder more powerful sound, that you would not get originally. When both switches are UP it they are in parallel, same as the original wiring. This mod is non invasive and gives you more versatility. The upper horn rhythm circuit is untouched and original.

Local pickup only.

Comes with reissue case.
